The Bow Valley Villa Quilters have a lot of fun when they meet Wednesday afternoons to quilt, and also get satisfaction from knowing the funds they raise from hand-sewing the quilts helps the Villa. Most years they can quilt about seven projects. They raffle one near Christmas. There is seldom a time when the volunteer quilters do not have a project on hand, and this year is no exception, as when this quilt is finished, another will quickly be put on the frame. The top for the pieced quilt in the photo was made by a 96-year-old whose daughter wanted it quilted. Hard at work on Jan. 18 were Mary McNab, Norma Workman, Joyce Wilson and Linda Bartolf. Margaret Shier and Frieda Sombrutzki were absent.
